A Cat's tale
Our kitty recently broke his tail in two places. Believe it or not, they don't have casts for cat tails! We ended up having to amputate is tail and having a very unhappy kitty cat

Blue Jean
It's the end of an era in Beverly Hills. Our neighbor Jean who has lived on the street for 40 years is moving to Texas this week. It happened pretty suddenly, but we were able to throw together a good-bye dinner at the house last night. Everything turned out Perfect.
We are going to miss you Ms. Jean.....

Trip to Western NC
We went on a road trip last weekend to the mountains of North Carolina. Suzy was accepted into Brevard and wanted to check out the area. I had forgotten how beautiful it was up there. I really miss it!

The infamous white squirrel

We had an amazing dinner in Asheville ( Blackened crab Quesidillia...need I say more?)

Pink Pig Revisited
Second time is the charm and we finally were able to get to Lenox square early and secure our position to get on the Pink Pig. It was an interesting ride, and I'm glad we did it. Although I don't really think it is anything you should go out of your way to do, unless you are a tradition junkie.

Visiting Berry College
We went to Berry College on Monday so Suzy could check out the school. Unfortunately there was nothing open BUT we still got to look around and see the school.

Christmas at Big Canoe
We went up to Big Canoe and had a great brunch with Grandma and Jimmy. If you ever get the chance, Grandma Dannette makes a great breakfast casserole. Yummy!
Santa Came!!
Cooper and Suzy awoke on Christmas morning to find that all Santa had indeed come afterall. They both made the nice list this year and were well rewarded for their actions

Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Suzy and I took at work-related trip to Jackson, Wyoming last week. It was quite an adventure thanks in part to United Airlines, who ended up delaying more than one of our flights. Alas, we finally made it there and had a wonderful time.
Jackson Square. In case you were wondering, the entire area is called Jackson Hole, the town is called Jackson, Wyoming
My fearless boss
Suzy is ready to tour Yellowstone park
He was about 7 minutes off, not bad for an old guy
Before Old Faithful did his thing
Whooosh!
Bacteria in the Hot Springs, isn't it beautiful?
Steamy Suzy
The water from the springs spilling over into the river
Our group
Buffalo crossing
Smells like Sulfur
Lower falls, 500 stairs later
Mud volcano
Pit stop on the way back up
Moon over Jackson Hole

The Grand Tetons, wouldn't it be nice to have this view every day?
