Suzy's Spring Solo Recital

May 26, 2007
Suzy had her Spring Recital at Pebblebrook High School last Saturday. She played very well, even if the pianist did keep messing up the song. We were all so very proud of her

Cooper hearts cupcakes

May 25, 2007
Cooper's infant class had a big party on the last day in the infant rooms before graduating to Toddlers. We had pizzas, drinks, and CUPCAKES.
Cooper was only interested in one thing, the cupcakes. He wouldn't play with the other kids, he simply stood by the table and guarded the cupcakes. I've never seen the little guy so committed.

Coops at the table, the cupcakes are in the blue tupperware

Eating pizza...still watching the cupcakes

Is it time now? Please give me a cupcake!

May 19th

We went to Cooper's Spring Fling at the Clifton School
It was alot of fun. The group that were singing, "The Flying Pizzas", are actually Danny's clients. It was nice to finally put a face with a name.

Danny and Suz checking everything out

Cooper had a ball in the jumpy thing. He didn't actually know how to jump,
but had a good time falling down.

Bubbles! Coops had both hands full with bubble makers

New playthings

Coops recently got a couple toys to play outside. The sandbox didn't go over as well as we'd expected but the slide was a hit. He still hasn't figure out how to slide correctly, he goes down backward on his belly every time.

Clifton School Auction

Danny and I went to an auction held at the CDC for Coops' school on Saturday. It was a really fun time. They had both a real auction and a silent auction. The food, drinks and prizes were all wonderful.
I went specifically to bid on the step stool the children in Cooper's class created. Someone else in the audience drove up the price a little but I was able to win the stool. I did have to hid our bidding number from Danny a couple of times because he really got into the spirit of the auction.
We ended up with a couple of gift baskets we won in the silent auction and the stool.
Suzy had a great time trying to keep Cooper out of her tuna salad at home.
It was a really nice evening to get out.

Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese's on Sunday to help Ansley Young celebrate her second birthday.
I'll have to upload the video later. I don't even have a picture of the birthday girl only a shot of the pizza rat. I think Suzy and Danny had a much better time than anyone there. You couldn't pull them away from Skeeball. Cooper was interested in the slide but could care less about all the little kiddie rides they had. We had a great time , Thanks for inviting us Ansley.

Ghost town?

I took this picture about a month ago. It's downtown Toccoa minus the canopy. Looks really strange doesn't it? I'm not sure I like it this way but I was never really into change . Hopefully it will help revitalize downtown. Somehow I think that might be a lost cause.
