Tomorrow is Someone's Birthday

Guess who?????

Thanksgiving 06

We spent Thanksgiving Day with Grandma Danette and Jimmy, Papa McEver, Ben & Jessica at Big Canoe. We had tons of good food and everyone settled in for a nap soon after.
Saturday, The Farmers all came down to Marietta to celebrate Mine and Sara Kate's Birthdays. I can't believe I did not take any photos, I have been seriously slacking off in that department. Coops had a good time following around Sara Kate, and Suzy got beaten up by her cousin Bryce several times.
The day turned out wonderful as Georgia beat GT, 15-12. GATA!!!!!

Gobble JOG 2006

It started out cold and blustery but by the time Suzy crossed the line, it was a beautiful day. Coops and I did the one mile run and Suzy took on the 5K. We all had a good time, including getting our picture and names mentioned in the Marietta Daily Journal. Next year, Coops gets to do the Tot trot.

Useless Trivia

The full moon on Sunday night is called

the Frosty Moon or the Full Beaver Moon.

*This was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Full Beaver Moon comes from the fact that the beavers are now actively preparing for winter.*
