Suzy's 15,000 mile check up
Suzy had her yearly checkup yesterday.
Good news: She is healthy as a horse.
Be kind to her today though, she had 2 shots and the flu mist up her nose

Mmmm Mmmmm Appples!
Visiting Grandma
We met Gramma Sheryl and Papa Farmer up at Demorest yesterday to take Grandma Louise out to lunch. We went to the Runway for a great buffet. Cooper loved their Mashed Potatoes! Suzy loved all the old cars out in the parking lot. We had a really nice visit, it was a beautiful day. Thanks again for luch, Mom!
Woodall wedding Reception
While Cooper and I were at home Saturday watching the Dawgs barely beat the worst team in the SEC, Suzy went to her best freind Elise's dad's wedding reception. The other cute girl is Emma. Emma and Elise have a band called the flying pancakes that played the reception. Suzy was guest vocalist for Magaritaville. I hope there's video of this somewhere!
Danny and I are in trouble.......
sent to us from a friend, Things I've learned from my boys (honest and not kidding):
A king-size waterbed holds enough water to fill a 2000 sq. ft. house 4 inches deep.
If you spray hair spray on dust bunnies and run over them with roller blades, they can ignite.
A 3-year-boy's voice is louder than 200 adults in a crowded restaurant.
If you hook a dog leash over a ceiling fan, the motor is not strong enough to rotate a 42-pound boy wearing Batman underwear and a Superman cape. It is strong enough, however, if tied to a paint can, to spread paint on all four walls of a 20 x 20 ft. room.
You should not throw baseballs up when the ceiling fan is on. When using a ceiling fan as a bat, you have to throw the ball up a few times before you get a hit. A ceiling fan can hit a baseball a long way. The glass in windows (even double-pane) doesn't stop a baseball hit by a ceiling fan.
When you hear the toilet flush and the words "uh oh," it's already too late.
Brake fluid mixed with Clorox makes smoke, and lots of it.
A six-year-old boy can start a fire with a flint rock, even though a 36-year-old man says they can do it only in the movies.
Certain Legos will pass through the digestive tract of a 4 year old boy.
Play dough and microwave should not be used in the same sentence.
Super glue is forever.
No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool you still can't walk on water.
Pool filters do not like Jell-O.
VCRs do not eject "PB & J" sandwiches even though TV commercials show they do.
Garbage bags do not make good parachutes.
Marbles in gas tanks make lots of noise when driving.
You probably DO NOT want to know what that odor is.
Always look in the oven before you turn it on; plastic toys do not like hot ovens.
The fire department in Austin, TX, has a 5-minute response time.
The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earthworms dizzy. It will, however, make cats dizzy. Cats throw up twice their body weight when dizzy.

on to the next challenge
We are beginning our next 14 day challenge today.
Mom will be joining us on this one.
We will be exercising again for 14 days (45 minutes each day) but this time we are adding 6 bike rides on top of the running.
This should put us in great shape for the 2 races at the end of the month.

Sam came for a visit
A day when the buffalo roamed
Once Again, there were no bathrooms open between our car and the stadium. Thanks Michael Adams!
UGA spent most of the 1st half defending our endzone
Suzy loves UGA Football!!
Ralphie grazed in the endzone during halftime

We had a great time at the game, despite UGA allowing Colorado to trample us in the first half. We waited mid 3-quarter before leaving, but finally had to call it a day to get home to Mr. Coops. And yes mom, it was only a coincidence that UGA came alive after we left. My leaving the stadium had no impact on us making an amazing comeback, at least I hope that's the case! We screamed and blew our horn all the way up 316, listening to Munson on the radio.

Goal ACCOMPLISHED!!
Suzy and I are heading to the mall this weekend to pick out some pretty new shoes.
Of the 14 days
11 were running days
2 walking days
and 1 bike ride
That's 7 hours of working out
39 miles under our belt
and quite a few calories burned.
It was a good challenge, we are trying to think up another one to start on Saturday.
Guess who's 9 months old today?
Cooper went for his 9 month check up with Dr. Weil this afternoon
He is 23lbs 4 oz, 28.25 inches, with a head circumference of 18in
Which puts him in the 50th percentile range
He checked out well and for once, did not have an ear infection.
The Dr. did lecture me a bit about his middle of the night bottle. He says it's not necessary and we should probably put our foot down and wean him off of it. It sounds so easy, but it's a totally different story when it's 3 o'clock in the morning and all you want to do is go back to sleep. Maybe we will try it this weekend.

14 day challenge
We have to exercise for 14 days straight.
At the end of the 14 days, if we have been good, we get to reward ourselves.
So far that has been motivation enough!

UGA v. W Kentucky
We had a wonderful time at the game. Papa Farmer and Grandma Sheryl stayed with Coops while we ventured over to Athens. The crowd was fired up but slowly started filtering out around half time. It was good to see our old seats and eat a stadium hotdog. All the quarterbacks did a decent job, I just hope the momentum rolls over to the SC game. The drive home was the pits. All the construction on 316 was a big stick in the mud. Can't wait until we play the gamecocks
